Pandharpur Buddhism
Pandharpur Buddhism - Pandharpur and Ashadi Ekadashi, the origin of word Pandharpur. Pandharpur is derived from word Pundarika in pali, which means Lotus (Sacred to Buddhist). Vithoba of Pandharpur is Buddha as it reflects in abhangas of Sant Dyaneshwat, Sant Tukaram, Sant Chokha Mela and others. Buddha is misguidingly named as 9th avatar of Vishnu and so is Vitthal of Pandharpur.
