Geography
Bodwad is located at North Maharashtra. It is very near Madhya Pradesh.21°03′N 75°46′E / 21.05°N 75.77°E / 21.05; 75.77. It has an average elevation of 209 metres (686 feet).
Overview
It is located on Bhusawal - Badnera section of Bhusawal Division of Central Railway and is on Mumbai - Howrah main rail route. The biggest college in the city is N H Ranka Highschool & jr-Sr College. It also has the facility of graduate course in arts and commerce & science. It is having one small lake within. It is a big business place for the surrounding cities & villages. It has a big cotton ginning and pressing units sprung by government subsidiary. It is one of bigest cotton market in district. This city has aprox 15 cotton ginning. Also a one greate place that is HANUMAN GHATI.8 km away from Bodwad there is a "durgah" situated at Ujjani village, this place is visited by the locals and people from nearby areas. from a short distance of 10km from bodwad there is a village named KURHA_HARDO in that two holy place "RAM JHERA" & "RAUT JHERA". Medical facilities has brought the revolutionary change by some private hospitals in 1–2 years.Gurudev hospital has started the first sonography center in bodwad taluka and also the well equipped operation theater with facility of ciserian section, dr yashpal s badgujar is practicing in paediatrics in his samchaya hospitalgandhi chowk.Recently the "Bodwad sinchana yojna's" inauguration has been done by pesident Pratibha Patil which may bring some change in economy of bodwad taluka.In the Bodwad most famous Studio is Bhushan Digital

Nasik( HinduPilgrimage place) is only 4½ hrs journey by road & railway.
